In 2015, after 10 years of management consulting in South Africa I changed my path and took a year out…to become a full time student again. I enrolled and was accepted into the University of Stellenbosch Business School’s Post Graduate Diploma in Futures Studies.

 

 My world view changed, my mind was pushed, prodded and inspired to explore all sorts of new realms, new ways of thinking and strategising. I came to see how this rather unknown field could be practically applied so easily in our constantly evolving environment.

 

I am focused on exploring the future and alternative, agile solutions to current and future challenges in a holistic manner. My approach is to unlock new thinking pathways through interactive and engaging workshops.

My holistic approach is founded in Futures Studies and Systems Thinking principals, guided by lessons learned over time as an independent business consult and influenced by Neuro-Linguistic (NLP) Principals.

 

To enhance my consulting approach I am an accredited facilitator in the LEGO ®SERIOUS PLAY® Method. I believe the method holds incredible value to unlocking new thinking pathways of teams and individuals alike. The method compliments my interactive facilitation style as it allows participants to get involved and vested in the facilitation process by ‘thinking with their hands’.

 

Complimenting my Futures Studies post-graduate diploma and LEGO®SERIOUS PLAY® Methodology Facilitator accreditation, I am also a Strength Deployment Index (SDI) facilitator and a certified Neuro Linguistic and Time-Line Therapy Practitioner.

 

Rather than a “get in, do it and get out” approach, I see my role as a facilitator in the process of helping great ideas emerge. I help companies (big or small) or individuals to review where they are and explore ways for them to grow (maybe even diversify!) their businesses (or thinking). Together we  create a positive pathway for the future, not just solutions for current challenges.
